How It Works

DTF Workflow: Print, Powder, Cure and Press

Prepare the Artwork

Use a DTF-capable RIP to control color, the white underbase and design placement on the PET film.

Print onto PET Film

Print the CMYK image and white layer onto compatible coated DTF transfer film.

Apply Adhesive Powder

Cover the wet ink with DTF hot-melt powder and remove excess powder before curing.

Cure the Transfer

Heat the film in a suitable oven or curing device until the powder melts evenly.

Heat Press

Place the cured transfer on the garment and press according to the selected film specification.

Peel and Finish

Peel hot, warm or cold as required, then perform a finishing press to improve hand feel and wash resistance.
