DTF Buying Questions

Questions to Answer Before Choosing a Printer

Product type, order volume, workspace, maintenance capacity and desired automation level all affect the right DTF setup.

Which DTF printer is suitable for a new business?

Compact A4 equipment is useful for small graphics, first orders and limited workspace. A3 provides more layout room for regular custom orders, while 60 cm systems are intended for gang sheets and commercial production. Review our DTF printer guide for beginners .

Should I choose an A4, A3 or 60 cm DTF printer?

Choose according to artwork size, expected output, available workspace and how much manual handling you can support. The largest machine is not automatically the best starting point. Compare the formats in our A4 vs A3 vs 60 cm DTF printer guide .

What equipment is required besides the printer?

A complete workflow normally includes RIP software, PET film, ink, hot-melt powder, curing equipment and a heat press. Production systems may also use a powder shaker and air purification equipment. See the complete DTF equipment checklist .

How much maintenance does a DTF printer require?

DTF printers require routine nozzle checks, correct startup and shutdown, white ink care and cleaning around the capping and wiping areas. Follow the DTF printer maintenance guide .

Can consumables and spare parts ship with the printer?

Ink, film, powder, cleaning supplies and selected maintenance components can be discussed when configuring the equipment order. Browse DTF supplies and DTF printer parts .

How are voltage, shipping and warranty terms confirmed?

Provide the destination country before the quotation is finalized. Voltage, plug type, packing, shipping method, included equipment and warranty terms should be confirmed in the final quotation or proforma invoice. Learn more about our DTF printer support process .
