Six-Step DTF Printing Workflow
Design
Prepare the artwork on a compatible Windows computer and configure the color and white underbase layers in RIP software.
Load roll or sheet PET transfer film and print the CMYK image with the required white layer.
Apply Powder
Apply DTF hot-melt powder evenly to the wet ink and remove excess powder from the film.
Cure
Cure the powdered transfer in a DTF oven according to the film and powder supplier’s instructions.
Heat Press
Position the transfer on the garment and press using the recommended temperature, pressure and time.
Peel and Finish
Peel according to the film type and perform an optional finishing press for improved durability and hand feel.
