STS Inks to Debut 64-Inch Dual-Head Mutoh DTF Printer at the ISA International Sign Expo 2022

Printer Unveiling Marks Expansion of Company’s Growing Modular DTF Program; Products Will Be On Display at ISA Booth #2641 May 4-6, 2022

BOCA RATON, Fla. – STS Inks, a global leader in the wide format, industrial and household inkjet markets, announced today that it will debut a 64-inch dual-head Mutoh DTF printer at the annual ISA International Sign Expo 2022, taking place in Atlanta, GA, May 4-6, 2022. Complemented by a 44-Inch Oven Shaker Unit, the new printer and STS Inks’ expanding modular DTF Program will be on display at booth #2641.

STS Inks DTF System was designed to make it simple and economical to create custom tshirts and other apparel quickly. In 2021, the company launched its revolutionary Direct-to-Film modular system. Mutoh is a top-selling manufacturer wide format printers and the STS program was created in partnership.

While the centerpiece of the STS Inks DTF system is a compact printer that measures 24” and is built to fit onto a table-top or rolling stand in any size print shop, the new STS/MUTOH XPJ 1682D 64” DTF Printer has been added to the program to fill a gap in the marketplace. It features a staggered dual head design which produces high-quality, low-resolution printing and speeds up print speeds.

The new STS/MUTOH printer has SAI’s Flexi DTF Pro Edition RIP Software, bundled with Flexi DTF Pro Editor. The XPJ-1682D has automatic bi-directional alignments, a touch panel that is easy to use, enhanced LED lighting, an upgraded media feed flange, which makes it possible for operators to load media quickly and exchange multiple rolls. These features simplify operation, increase productivity and reduce maintenance. They also ensure high quality output and production. The XPJ-1682D is paired with STS Inks’ DTF ink, which offers users excellent color gamut and outstanding durability.

“We’re excited to give attendees at ISA a first-look at the STS/MUTOH XPJ 1682D 64” DTF Printer and have the opportunity to try out our entire DTF program,” said Shahar Turgeman, who founded STS Inks in 1999. “We have had an incredible response to the modular DTF system since its launch and we look forward to continuing to expand our DTF options and capabilities to meet the growing needs of the industry.”

DTF offers many advantages over traditional DTG (Direct to Garment) technology. This is because it can print onto non-treated cotton fabrics, as well as denim and nylon. It also wears much faster. DTF can be printed onto silk, cotton, nylon, nylon, leather and 50/50 blends. DTF can be used on both white and dark textiles. Users can choose between a matte or glossy finish. DTF doesn’t require any cutting or weeding. It creates sharp edges and images and requires no technical printing knowledge.

STS Inks created its DTF programs and packages in order to make it easier than the alternatives currently available. It spent a lot of time researching and creating pairing components that are simple to set up and use straight out of the box. It has created a user experience that is completely free from aggravation. This is unlike equipment and systems which often require multiple, frustrating calibrations. STS Inks also offers unmatched service and reliability, particularly when compared to the difficulty of repairing broken printers or printers that have been converted or refurbished from overseas. This is because parts and technicians are often not readily available.

STS Inks launched the industry’s first-ever fluorescent inks for DTF printing in December 2021. The company also introduced new DTF photo printing inks last month. These inks are lighter magenta and lighter cyan DTF inks, which deliver more precise colors and better gradients. STS Inks is a well-known brand for high quality inks that are compatible with large format printers of all major brands. STS Inks DTF Inks are high-color density, broad-color gamut, and exceptional color saturation. They can also be printed head-safe with nano pigment + encapsulated resin.

STS Inks can be used in a variety of applications. They are non-toxic and eco-friendly. STS Inks come in CMYK, white, and other colors. They are made in the USA and go through rigorous testing.
