“Both Impression Technology Australia and Pigment.Inc Europe have worked tirelessly to develop and deliver to industry what we believe are truly innovative equipment choices for the garment decoration sector,” said Impression Technology Australia CEO Steve Richardson.

“We work closely with our global distributors to understand what the end user is looking for in equipment performance. Garment decoration companies are seeking to improve their production processes and tackle a wider range of print applications. They want printing systems that are simple to use, quick to produce and easy to maintain.

“The Q1 and Q2 Hybrid Series printers are designed to meet this demand with truly versatile DTG and DTF printing capability packed into an industrial build quality that delivers on print speed, reduced maintenance and true print versatility from one printing device. The Q1 Hybrid Series allows users to decorate natural and synthetic materials such as T-Shirts and sportswear, bags, leather goods, and other substrates that were not possible with DTG printing. The Q Hybrid Series is able to print DTG and DTF at the touch of a button.

There are two Q Hybrid Series models available: the Q1 or Q2. The Q Hybrid Series DTG/DTF, which is the first of its kind in this field, incorporates transfer printing via proprietary reverse firmware. This allows for seamless direct and transfer print production on one printing platform. The Q1 can produce 50 to 75 dark garments an hour, while the Q2 model can produce as many as 75 light garments. In production mode, the Q2 model is capable of producing up to 100 dark and 150 light garments per hour. Both models are suitable for industrial level printing on T-Shirts and apparel, as well outdoor wear, sportswear, and other fabrics. The Q Hybrid Series Printers offer the ability to scale up production with all the versatility and efficiency required for garment decoration.

Q1•T Series Printer / roll-to-roll transfer (DTG Digital)

IT Q1T.jpg

DTF roll-to–roll transfer printing system to create indirect fabric decoration. The transfer is printed onto translucent PET film rolls before being passed through an inline powder glue station. In-line printing, polymerises, and cures the glue layer. This allows for heat transfer onto a wide range of synthetic and natural fabrics, including cottons, polyesters, poly-cotton blends. The Q1•T Series Printer simplifies the transfer printing process while simultaneously boosting production capacity and application versatility The dimensions of the Q1-T Series measures 1330mm(W) x 1250mm(H) x 2100(L)mm – assembled and 770mm (W) x 1080mm (H) x 1610 (L)mm – unassembled and fits through a standard doorway.

DTF Kit / Transfer kit (PPS Innovations)

  it dtf kit.jpg

DTF Kits are designed to allow DTG users of Epson, Brother, and other brands to print DTF transfers using their existing DTG printer setup. Indirect transfer printing has the distinct advantage of being able to decorate synthetic fabrics such as Sportswear and Outdoor wear. Also, it allows for embellishment on difficult surfaces such as bags and caps which may have curves and flaps, making direct printing impractical. The DTF Kit contains a heat-controlled platen, printable transfer sheets and a TPU powder adhesive that can be applied using a shaker. A PPS Melt Box is used to cure both the ink and powder glue and ready them for heat transfer onto garments. The heat-controlled platen stabilizes the ink during printing and reduces colour bleed. This in turn enhances image quality as well as transfer quality. TPU powder glue can be used to reduce static buildup on printable films. It allows for precise glue to ink adhesion as well as flexibility in different fabric types to allow for decoration. The PPS Melt Curebox is a timer-controlled heat adjustable unit that cures both the glue and the printed film prior to pressing. DTG users can also avail of Kodak’s DTF specific ink-set as an option.

T-Fold machine / Folding and assistance bagging of Tees (PPS innovation)

The T-Fold, a bench-top all-electric driven T-Shirt folding/assist bagging machine for the DTG sector, automates the folding and packaging of T-Shirts. The T-Fold folds in four seconds and presents the shirt ready to bagging. This equates to between 350 to 550 shirts per an hour for one operator depending on the folded cycle.

The T-Fold is all electric and can be used with any standard wall plug. The T-Fold can be carried, but it is built to industrial quality specifications.

PRE-T Machine / Pre- treat garments for digital printing (PPS innovations)

 pre-t.jpg

The Pre-T Machine is designed to efficiently and safely pre-treat small and large quantities of garments for digital printing. The PRE-T Machine is designed to be used by current DTG workers and can handle the heavy equipment demands of garment decoration companies. For long-lasting durability, the PRE-T machine is made of metal and coated in ACF-50 anticorrosion film. The unique spray nozzle system provides precise surface coating without clogging. With an integrated semi-automated cleaning feature, the PRE-T is easy to clean. Pre-treating is done in complete protection. The unit does not mist the printer room with pre-treat. It is easy to set the desired amount of pretreatment, load the garment and it’s ready for operation.
