What is Bluezone’s theme for the January show?

Sebastian Klinder This year’s motto is “Discovery,” under which Bluezone invites the visitors and exhibitors to share moments together and discover the latest highlights. Fashion experts and denim specialists can get inspiration on material innovations, new perspectives, and changes in the industry. They also have the opportunity to rediscover their skills, passions, and expertise in order place them at their center.

Bluezone is a place for discovery and celebration. Whether it’s the latest highlights, innovations, co-operations or experiences—the trade show explores the new and unknown and goes on a journey together with denim and fashion brands without them losing their focus on themselves.

We are delighted to announce that leading companies like Saitex and Strom have joined our brand lineup of over 100 international mills.

Every trade show has a different vibe and purpose. What do you think Bluezone is to the industry?

SK: Bluezone is a denim platform that offers something special, making it one of the most sought-after. It’s a dedicated and fully integrated show-in-show concept of Munich Fabric Start, one of the leading fabric shows worldwide with almost 1,000 internationally established specialists of the textile and fabric industry.

We have created a large network and facilitated many opportunities for networking, physical meetings, and educational inputs so that the industry can concentrate on being sustainable, reinventing itself, and shaping the future denim trends. All this is possible in Germany, one of the most important textile markets.

Have Bluezone’s attendance and exhibitors changed since pre-pandemic shows?

SK: The shows are the same as the pre-pandemic ones, but there is not much to be noticed. We are fully booked and will continue to offer relevant exhibits with around 100 international denim exhibitors. They cover all aspects of the supply chain from denim mills to finishing.
